Tänään kahdeksalta Hartwall Arenalta kajahtaa Iron Maiden. Tätä konserttia onkin odotettu kuin kuuta nousevaa, ja liput jäälle takaavat varmasti pysyvän kuulovaurion ilman asianmukaisita suojautumista. Eipä silti, en jättäisi tätä väliin mistään hinnasta!
Kyseinen orkesteri on ollut oma suosikkini jo viimeiset 20 vuotta (no ainakin melkein). Onneksi Bruce on edelleen mukana kuvioissa, vaikka olikin viime konsertissa leikannut lettinsä lyhyeksi… Hrrrrr…. No, musiikki se on se pääasia, joten mitäs me muusta rekvisiitasta… Kunhan Eddie on mukana!

The Give Me Ed… Til I’m Dead tour will see the band headlining not only their own shows but almost every major summer festival throughout Europe, before going to the USA later in the year.The first three shows in Scandinavia announced just before Christmas saw all 50,000 tickets sell out in the first week of going on sale – including the 31,000 capacity Stockholm Stadium, so the band know the Metal hordes are ready!
Says Bruce Dickinson, ”This tour is all about having fun as the name suggests. We love summer and we love playing big shows. We are going to be playing a lot of our favourite Maiden songs and many people know we’ve got a new album in the pipeline for later this year so perhaps we’ll be playing a new song or two, but basically it will be full on Maiden! Trouble is when you have so many great songs it’s hard to please everyone all of the time. The band is firing on all cylinders and the show will be as spectacular as always.”
